ESTG welcomed professors from the Lublin University of Technology for an international workshop in Safety Engineering

Between April 28th and 30th, ESTG had the privilege of welcoming two lecturers from the Lublin University of Technology in Poland, Prof. Elżbieta Czarnocka and Prof. Krzysztof J. Czarnocki. The visit was part of an international mobility initiative that resulted in specialised workshops on safety and risk management in engineering.

The workshops, entitled ‘Design Thinking in Safety Engineering’ and ‘Development of a Risk Assessment Model for the Use of Support Structures for Safety Management in Construction with a Focus on Teaming and Ergonomics for Engineering’, covered innovative methodologies and practical tools, with a focus on the application of design thinking and risk assessment in the construction sector.

This international mobility has made a significant contribution to the modernisation and internationalisation of the two institutions, promoting the development of students‘ and teachers’ skills, as well as the establishment of future collaborations, namely the joint preparation of applications for research and development projects under programmes such as NCBiR/EU.

ESTG is thus reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence, internationalisation and the transfer of knowledge to society, promoting opportunities for collaborative learning and innovation.

Thank you for your visit. It’s always a pleasure to welcome you here.
