ESTG welcomes 52 international mobility students for the winter semester in the 2026/2027 academic year

On 14 September 2026, the School of Management and Technology welcomed 52 international mobility students who will be joining our academic community during the winter semester in the 2026/2027 academic year.

The students come to ESTG through different international mobility programmes, including Erasmus+, exchange and double-degree programmes, representing a wide range of partner institutions from across Europe and Brazil.

During the Welcome Session, the Director of ESTG officially welcomed the incoming students and highlighted the importance of internationalisation and cultural diversity within the academic community.

The session was then continued by the International Office, which provided students with essential information to help them settle into their new academic and social environment. Students were introduced to important academic and practical resources, including DOMUS and Moodle, as well as information about public transportation, academic procedures, student support services and other relevant aspects of everyday life at ESTG and in Porto.

As part of the Welcome Session, the International Office also wanted to share a small taste of our local culture with the incoming Erasmus+ students. Each student received a traditional Cavaca de Felgueiras, a typical sweet from the municipality of Felgueiras. This small gesture was intended to give our international students something that is truly “ours” and to introduce them to one of the local flavours and traditions of the region. We hope they enjoyed this little taste of Felgueiras as much as we enjoyed sharing it with them!

The Welcome Session also provided an opportunity for students to become familiar with the support available throughout their mobility period and to ask questions before starting their academic activities.

The 52 incoming students come from partner institutions in countries including France, Germany, Croatia, Poland, Spain, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Brazil, contributing to an increasingly diverse and international ESTG community.

While most of the incoming students will be studying at ESTG during the first semester, some will remain throughout the entire academic year as part of their respective mobility or double-degree programmes.

ESTG is delighted to welcome all incoming students and wishes them a successful, enriching and memorable experience. We hope that their time at ESTG will be an opportunity to learn, share experiences, build new connections and become an active part of our international community.

Welcome to ESTG!
