ESTG welcomes visitor from IES San Clemente to explore future collaboration

On 18 May 2026, ESTG welcomed Marcos Vence Ruibal, lecturer in Computer Science at IES San Clemente, in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, for a networking visit aimed at exploring potential opportunities for future collaboration.

Although Professor Vence was undertaking an Erasmus+ mobility hosted by a company in the Porto region, he took the opportunity to visit ESTG to learn more about the institution, its academic programmes, and its internationalisation strategy.

During the visit, the International Office presented ESTG’s educational offer, international activities, and participation in European programmes such as Erasmus+. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on possible areas of cooperation, particularly in the field of Information and Communication Technologies, and to discuss future initiatives involving staff and student mobility.

Visits such as this play an important role in expanding ESTG’s international network, fostering new academic contacts, and creating opportunities for future partnerships that contribute to the internationalisation of higher education.
