Invited Speaker: Mine Yiğiter, Ankara Yildirim Beyazit Universitesi, Turkey
Mine Yiğiter is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and also the measurement and evaluation coordinator of the Learning and Teaching Centre in Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University. Her research focuses on educational measurement and psychometrics, with particular expertise in large-scale educational assessments and advanced statistical modelling. Her work involves the application of Mixture Item Response Theory models and latent class analysis to investigate heterogeneity in learner performance and assessment data. She is particularly interested in data-driven approaches to educational assessment and the integration of modern psychometric methods with emerging analytical techniques.
This workshop will introduce key concepts in educational measurement and demonstrate practical psychometric analyses using the Jamovi statistical software. The session will include applied examples from advanced assessment approaches in educational research.
