Invited Speaker: Marco William Martínez-Mora, Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Costa Rica
Marco William Martínez-Mora is a PhD Candidate at the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) and Professor-Researcher at the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica, where he coordinates the Business Neuroscience Lab. He specialises in applied neurosciences (eye-tracking, facial coding, GSR) for business applications, with particular focus on Human Talent Management, neuroethics, and psychological acceptance of emerging technologies. His recent publication explores neurotechnologies in recruitment, ethical frameworks, and regulatory landscapes.
This interactive workshop examines how neurotechnologies are transforming global hiring.
Students will:
– Learn how facial coding and eye-tracking measure emotional/cognitive responses
– See LIVE data analysis using Real Eye technology and Facial Coding
– Identify hidden biases in AI-driven hiring systems
– Understand emerging regulations
– Design fairer approaches to technology-enabled recruitment
