During her visit, Professor Kolinets delivered the International Workshop “Global Trade Trends, Trade Wars and the WTO”, open to the academic community.
The teaching programme covered topics such as the evolution of global trade, trade wars, international organisations, and economic resilience, with particular emphasis on the Baltic States and comparative perspectives with other European economies. Sessions combined interactive lectures, workshops, discussions, and case studies, fostering critical thinking and the practical application of concepts by students.
The primary objective of this Erasmus+ mobility was to strengthen international academic cooperation, share best practices in teaching and research, and contribute to the development of high-quality business education within the European Higher Education Area. The visit allowed Professor Kolinets to explore P.PORTO’s educational approaches, particularly in areas related to digital transformation, entrepreneurship, sustainable economic development, and financial markets, while promoting intercultural dialogue and European identity.
The expected outcomes include the reinforcement of academic and administrative collaboration between VilniusTech and P.PORTO, the enhancement of students’ knowledge and skills through the exchange of expertise and methodologies, and the inspiration of other faculty and students to engage in international activities. The visit also contributed to European academic integration, the strengthening of intercultural competencies, and the co-creation of knowledge in the field of business education.
