Presentation Summary: This session introduces the concept of financial literacy and its key components, including financial knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, highlighting their importance for individual financial well-being and broader societal resilience. It will explore the relationship between what people actually know about financial matters and what they believe they know, emphasising how gaps between perceived and actual knowledge can influence financial decision-making. To encourage engagement and reflection, part of the session will include an interactive activity based on a board game designed to test and discuss students’ financial knowledge in a practical and participatory way.
