BIP Digital Transition, Law and Internacional Market

The School of Management and Technology is organising a Blended Intensive Programme.

This programme is organised by ESTG P.PORTO in partnership with Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Universidad de León.

This innovative educational programme aims to understand the legal implications of digitalisation for professionals in different sectors.

During the ten days, participants will have the opportunity to understand the impact of digitalisation on legal frameworks and international trade.

The course is aimed at students from Erasmus+ partner higher education institutions and ESTG students enrolled in Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes, preferably in the areas of Legal Practice/Law, Management, Engineering, Architecture, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology and Tourism.

Participants will have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of the impact of digitalisation on legal frameworks and international trade. The programme includes understanding the legal implications of digitalisation, navigating international regulations, studying data privacy legislation, assessing consumer protection measures in email, exploring international commercial arbitration and discussing the challenges and solutions to intellectual property rights in the digital age.

In the online sessions, participants will be able to count on interactive presentations and discussions on key topics, and there will be synchronous activities to facilitate participation and interaction between students and teachers. The face-to-face sessions will consist of lectures and workshops led by experts, teamwork to develop collaborative projects and the presentation of the final projects developed by the students.

This programme aims to prepare participants to develop crucial skills for navigating international regulations and adapting to digital transformations, preparing students to face the challenges of the modern global economy.
