ESTG received teachers and staff mobilities from 3 Polish Universities

ESTG welcomed on June 17th Anna Siemionek and Julia Kolarun-Bereznicka from the University of Gdans; Izabela Bagińska, Zofia Konopka and Hanna Marciak from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn; and Beata Bakulard from the Police Academy in Szczytno. During this visit, the cooperation between the Partner Universities and ESTG was reinforced with several meetings at different levels (International Office, Center for Research and Innovation in Business Sciences and the Information Systems (CIICESI) and the Entrepreneur Support Office (GAE)). Erasmus Staff from Warsaw University

Magdalena Bujak from Warsaw University in Poland, visited ESTG on June 3rd and 4th under Erasmus+ mobility.  Erasmus+ supports training periods for staff working in higher education institutions.  This staff mobility had as main goal to share experiences and good practices on issues such as Institutional Communication and Information Organization.  At ESTG we promote a constant learning and sharing knowledge among colleagues from other universities, teachers and students. Generation Z @ ESTG

After the meeting in Torun (Poland) and Riga (Latvia) the research team of the Project: “Enjoy Generation Z! – stimulating achievements and using modern IT Technologies to increase effectiveness at work with Generation Z” met in Felgueiras (Portugal). From May 27th to May 31st, researchers (Teachers and Staff) from RISEBA University and Torun School of Banking were gathered at ESTG in order to do a mid-term evaluation of this project. ESTG received two teachers from Lublin University of Technology

On May 27th and 28th  Professors Krzysztof Czarnocki and Elżbieta Czarnocka from the Lublin University of Technology, Poland, were at ESTG under an Erasmus+ mobility. ESTG and Lublin University of Technology are developing a common research project “Risk assessment Model for the construction accidents and unsafe conditions for the workplaces with scaffolds”, since 2016. The students had the opportunity to attend a class related to Developing Scaffold Use Risk Assessment Model for Construction Safety Management. International Days 2019

From March 12th and 14th, ESTG organized the Event “International Days 2019” aiming to widen and strengthen cooperation, exchange know-how and best practices among partners. ESTG welcomed teachers and students from several countries. ESTG Student participates in Trainning Mobility in Poland

Diana Lopes, student of Project Management MSc (ESTG-P.PORTO) is completing her internship in Refinitiv, a polish company of the Thomson Reuters Group. Refinitiv is responsible for the financial and risk management services of Thomson Reuters. Diana finished the bachelor in Business Sciences in ESTG in 2017. As a master student, she realized a study mobility in Gdansk University, Poland. According to Diana, the challenges and daily contact with different cultures contribute to her personal enrichment.
