The primary aim of this visit was to strengthen the existing partnership between the two institutions by establishing personal and professional contacts with academic and administrative staff at ESTG, promoting the exchange of best practices, and identifying new opportunities for academic and international collaboration that would be mutually beneficial to both institutions.
Throughout the visit, Sanikidze engaged in several meetings with faculty members and staff from various departments at ESTG. These interactions provided a valuable platform for in-depth discussions regarding the development of joint initiatives, including the potential for dual or double degree programmes, as well as collaborative teaching and research projects. Observing the daily work of colleagues at ESTG further enriched this experience and fostered the sharing of institutional practices, ideas, and pedagogical approaches.
This mobility initiative is fully aligned with the modernisation and internationalisation strategies of both institutions. By fostering working relationships at the faculty and departmental levels, the visit has laid the groundwork for the establishment of new programmes and for the continued expansion of existing cooperation. It also contributed to enhancing institutional capacity for international mobility, strengthening global academic networks, and supporting the development of professional skills with a sustainable, long-term impact.
The visit of Tedo Sanikidze represents another important step in ESTG’s ongoing commitment to international engagement and academic excellence. The institution expresses its sincere appreciation for the collaboration and looks forward to deepening its fruitful partnership with GIPA, in line with the core values and objectives of the Erasmus+ programme.
