In Portugal, this Project has the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Tâmega e Sousa as Partner, and ESTG is one of the Stakeholders invited for this project.
The partners meeting took place on 30th June and 1st July in Matera, Italy, organised by Svilluppo Basilicata SPA – Regional Development Agency, the Italian partner of this project.
Three years after the beginning of the project, and after its first phase, fully dedicated to sharing experiences and good practices of digitalization in companies, the seven DigiBEST partners met again to present the action plans, to be implemented in the second phase of the project, which will start in August.
These plans aim to promote digitalization and, consequently, the competitiveness of SMEs in the territories covered by the project, as well as to respond to the constraints identified by companies and partners during the first phase, proposing solutions to increase their ability to use advanced technologies and new innovative business approaches, resulting in the improvement of the overall economic development and employment.
Integrates the project the CIM Tâmega e Sousa (Portugal), the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia, the University of Latvia, the Region of Trøndelag (Norway), the Svilluppo Basilicata SPA – Regional Development Agency (Italy), the Province of Granada (Spain) and the financial institution Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft (Austria). The school was represented by Prof. Nelson Duarte, as co-coordinator of this project, from the ESTG stakeholder.
