ESTG staff members were at the Canadian Institute of Technology under the International Credit Mobility programme

During this mobility we had the opportunity to discuss several possibilities for future cooperation, including double degree diplomas, joint programmes, cooperation for scientific articles and participation in several projects. These collaborations have the potential to benefit not only our institutions, but also our students, teachers and researchers.

Our lecturers Alexandra Braga and Wellington Alves had the opportunity to teach a workshop with the topic π‹π„𝐓’π’ππ‹π€π˜ π€ ππˆπ“! π”π’πˆππ† π‹π„𝐄𝐀𝐍 π“πŽπŽπ‹π’ π“πŽ π’π”πππŽπ‘π“ π‚πŽπŒππ„π“πˆπ“πˆπ•π„ π€πƒπ•π€ππ“𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐒 πˆπ π‚πŽπŒππ€ππˆπ„, where students were challenged to assemble a Lean mechanism, putting their logic and skills to the test, applying their knowledge in a practical and engaging way.

Our lecturer Ana Borges also had the opportunity to teach a workshop with the theme π‹π„𝐓’𝐒 π†πŽ πˆππ“π„π‘ππ€π“πˆπŽππ€π‹: π“πˆπŒπ„ (π“πŽ π“π‡πˆππŠ π€ππƒ) ππ€π˜ π“𝐇𝐄 ππˆπ‹π‹ where it was possible to clarify the financial aspects of internationalisation, such as exchange rates and taxes, and how to manage them effectively, also discussing the legal and regulatory requirements for doing business in foreign countries and how to navigate them with ease.

It was a pleasure for us to be at CIT. It was inspiring to exchange ideas and learn more about their academic programmes and research initiatives.
