Wellington Alves from ESTG participated in a Forum hosted by the Hellenic Mediterranean University

In the past week, our lecturer Wellington Alves was invited to talk at the “Forum on New Technologies in Agriculture and Food Industry” at the Hellenic Mediterranean University in Greece.

From the 1st of April till the 5th of April 2024, the “Forum on New Technologies Agriculture and Food Industry” had as its main goal to explore innovative technologies in agriculture and food, focusing on sustainability, AI, biotechnology, and climate change impacts, promoting collaboration among experts for a sustainable future.

Our lecturer participated by giving a talk with the theme “Empowering local farmers for inclusive agriculture development”. 

Hosted by the ATHENA European University’s Industry Task Team, this event was a pivotal platform for researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to explore advancements and foster collaborations aimed at enhancing sustainability, productivity, and food safety in the European context.
