The Hackathon is designed to create proximity and collaboration between ESTG and the associations and is organised by the school’s Entrepreneur Support Office (GAE). It consists of real problems, identified by the associations and proposed to ESTG, for discussion in working groups, with a view to developing ideas/proposals for future solutions, to be realised by the interested parties/companies.
This Hackathon will be organised in collaboration with the Associação Empresarial de Portugal (www.aeportugal.pt) and Europe Direct do Tâmega, Sousa e Alto Tâmega (profisousa.pt/europe-direct).
The mission of the Associação Empresarial de Portugal (AEP) is to promote the development and competitiveness of Portuguese companies, defending their interests and contributing to a more favourable and sustainable business environment. AEP seeks to support companies in their internationalisation, innovation and growth, stimulating the creation of value and strengthening the business fabric in Portugal.
Europe Direct do Tâmega, Sousa e Alto Tâmega’s mission is to promote a proactive and continuous dialogue with citizens, making the European Union more accessible at the local and regional levels. This centre organises activities to involve citizens in the debate on the current state and future of the European project, establishes close relations with various entities, companies, civil society and local media, and helps the European institutions to better understand the sensitivities and concerns of the population in their geographical areas.
