Invited Speaker: Arturo Martínez Rodrigo – University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain
Arturo Martínez Rodrigo is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM, Spain). He is a Telecommunications Engineer, Graduated in Audiovisual Telecommunications Systems and Doctor from UCLM. He currently teaches undergraduate courses such as Communication Technologies at the Faculty of Communication, or subjects like principles of programming, applications, networks and services in the Telecommunications Technology Engineering Degree at UCLM. Since 2015, he is an active member of the ELBIT Research Group, where his lines of research are related to data processing, artificial intelligence, sensor networks and communication protocols.
His research experience is focused on data processing and analysis, with special emphasis on the statistical design of machine learning models and advanced classifiers. He is the author of more than 60 scientific works in this field, broken down into 35 scientific articles published in scientific journals with a high impact factor, in addition to 18 book chapters published in highly relevant publishers or more than a dozen international conferences and invited lectures.
