The theme for the workshop will be an introduction to copyright law. It is planned that the lecture will discuss such topics as the main features of copyright, basic principles of their legal regulation, certain authors’ rights with their basic characteristics as well as actualities of using copyrighted material.
Invited Speaker: Ričardas Varno – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH), Lithuania
Ričardas Varno has been working as a lecturer at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University starting from 2008. The main subject of his lectures is copyright law. Ričardas Varno graduated from the Faculty of History of Vilnius University in 1996 and the Faculty of Law at the same university in 2000. Starting from 2005 R. Varno has been a member of the Lithuanian Bar Association.
