Introduction to international contracts
In this workshop, we will explore the main features and challenges of contracting across borders, and how to avoid common pitfalls and disputes.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
. How international contracts differ from domestic contracts in terms of applicable law, jurisdiction, enforcement, and dispute resolution;
. What you need to know about the formation of international contracts, including offer and acceptance;
. What is an international sales contract and how it is governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Invited Speaker: Renata Cibulskiene – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania
Renata Cibulskiene is a lecturer and lawyer. She teaches Contract law and Business law at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Vilnius TECH), where she belongs to the Law Department of Law in the Faculty of Business Management. She has also delivered lectures at several universities in Europe, such as the University of Palermo, Polytechnic University of Tirana, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Polytechnic University of Valencia, Kadir Has University in Istanbul, and others. Besides her academic career, she works as a lawyer at a law company, where he specialises in contract law, inheritance law, and family law.
