International Workshop “SUSTAINVALEU: The Essential Guide to Assessing and Boosting Business Success”

The School of Management and Technology at P.PORTO invites the community to participate in the International Workshop.

Date: 14th December 2023, from 03.00 pm to 05.00 pm, AUD. 3

During the course, a systematic approach to monitoring and assessing of the company’s performance results in the context of sustainable development, organisation of sustainable development activities in the company, is revealed. During the teaching of the module, issues of assessment, monitoring, communication of a company that aims to become sustainable, and the role of stakeholders are examined. Sustainable development is analysed and evaluated as a prerequisite for the company’s added value. The study subject provides the ability to analytically assess and financially analyse the results of sustainable development in business.

Invited Speaker: Indre Lapinskaite – Faculty of Business Management at VILNIUS TECH, Lithuania

Prof Dr Indre Lapinskaite has a PhD in Economics. She is currently a professor at the Department of Financial Engineering, Faculty of Business Management at VILNIUS TECH, has a position as a senior researcher, and is a director of the Institute of Dynamic Management. She is the head of the VILNIUS TECH Faculty of Business Management research group “Management and evaluation of investments in sustainable development as value added (sustainable development engineering)”. The researcher actively encourages students to conduct research and final theses on sustainable development. She actively participates in research and study projects, gives presentations at conferences, has published more than 30 scientific articles, and is a co-author of a textbook. Has over ten years of teaching experience and the subjects are: anatomy and management of sustainable development, green logistics and sustainable development, pricing, and risk management.

Without all involved, in 2020, she participated in a university working group, that developed the concept of sustainable development of VILNIUS TECH. She cooperates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and consults as an expert in the implementation of sustainability in an organisation. Her international experience includes lectures and internships at Austrian, Belgian, Spanish, Latvian, Portuguese, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Finnish and German universities.
