At the “Erasmus Generation Meeting” which took place in Seville, from April 4th until April 7th, it was awarded the city of Porto this recognition “Erasmus Destination of the Year”, which aims to identify and distinguish the best support for student mobility and emphasise the role which student associations have on making cities more welcoming to mobility students.
Porto, which succeeds the cities of Ghent (Belgium, 2023) and Thessaloniki (Greece, 2022), won the vote against fellow finalists Istanbul, Nicosia, Sofia and Seville, the host city for EGM 2024.
