The Buddies have a fundamental role in welcoming incoming students, helping them in their social integration in the school community and in the city, supporting them in administrative and academic tasks, promoting the sense of interculturality in ESTG students.
This academic year, the School welcomed 65 new international students from countries such as Brazil, Guinea-Bissau, Angola, Cape Verde and Mozambique. The School has been growing in the number of international students placed, as a result of a bet made on the internationalization of higher education.
Among the nationalities represented by international students, Brazil is the country with the largest representation at our School. Still in this academic year, in the first semester, ESTG welcomed 23 Erasmus students. In the 2nd semester, it welcomed 11 Erasmus students from countries such as Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey, Serbia and Brazil.
