Higher Professional Technical Course in Sales and Marketing Management received Teachers from the Secondary School Alfonso VIII (Instituto de Educación Secundaria Alfonso VIII)

Nuria Moreno and Marta Cruz, teachers from the Secondary School Alfonso VIII , visited ESTG between 14th and 17th January in Staff Mobility. The framework of the visit was the promotion of training mobility’s between both Institutions in Higher Professional Technical Courses (HPTC), with particular relevance in the Higher Professional Technical Courses in Sales and Marketing Management. With this visit we expect to start a fruitful cooperation between ESTG and Alfonso VIII School, in particular on what concerns HPTC trainings abroad.

Welcome Session

Last 1st October, ESTG welcomed students attending the School in Erasmus+ mobility. Their presence contributes to the development of an international and multicultural environment in ESTG Community. This semester, the students are 20 from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Turkey, Italy, Romania and Spain. All ESTG Community welcomes this students. However, the School would like to give a special thanks to the ESTG Buddies who attended the Session and helped to integrate the students. Job Shadowing Erasmus+ Mobility

Andreas Zelou,  IT Security Officer at The Cyprus Institute, visited ESTG Informatic Centre between 11th and 17th July in a Training and Job Shadowing. The purpose of this mobility was the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices, related to the informatic tools and systems used by both Institutions. ESTG received teachers and staff mobilities from 3 Polish Universities

ESTG welcomed on June 17th Anna Siemionek and Julia Kolarun-Bereznicka from the University of Gdans; Izabela Bagińska, Zofia Konopka and Hanna Marciak from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn; and Beata Bakulard from the Police Academy in Szczytno. During this visit, the cooperation between the Partner Universities and ESTG was reinforced with several meetings at different levels (International Office, Center for Research and Innovation in Business Sciences and the Information Systems (CIICESI) and the Entrepreneur Support Office (GAE)). Erasmus Staff from Warsaw University

Magdalena Bujak from Warsaw University in Poland, visited ESTG on June 3rd and 4th under Erasmus+ mobility.  Erasmus+ supports training periods for staff working in higher education institutions.  This staff mobility had as main goal to share experiences and good practices on issues such as Institutional Communication and Information Organization.  At ESTG we promote a constant learning and sharing knowledge among colleagues from other universities, teachers and students. Generation Z @ ESTG

After the meeting in Torun (Poland) and Riga (Latvia) the research team of the Project: “Enjoy Generation Z! – stimulating achievements and using modern IT Technologies to increase effectiveness at work with Generation Z” met in Felgueiras (Portugal). From May 27th to May 31st, researchers (Teachers and Staff) from RISEBA University and Torun School of Banking were gathered at ESTG in order to do a mid-term evaluation of this project. ESTG received two teachers from Lublin University of Technology

On May 27th and 28th  Professors Krzysztof Czarnocki and Elżbieta Czarnocka from the Lublin University of Technology, Poland, were at ESTG under an Erasmus+ mobility. ESTG and Lublin University of Technology are developing a common research project “Risk assessment Model for the construction accidents and unsafe conditions for the workplaces with scaffolds”, since 2016. The students had the opportunity to attend a class related to Developing Scaffold Use Risk Assessment Model for Construction Safety Management.
